settimana mi è toccato, per l'ennesima volta nella mia vita, sentire. Non ricordo il contesto, ma la sostanza non cambia. "Bertoldo si confessa ridendo" dice un (saggio) proverbio. Temo che, per quanto nel mezzo del cammin di mia vita non riuscirò a godermi un mondo senza pregiudizi e - più genericamente - privo di tali imbecilli. Più mi guardo attorno e più penso che le persone in posizioni di prestigio e responsabilità sono quelle, non solo che NON invidio, ma sono quelle che stimo meno (e che, per dirla tutta, la stima di persone mediamente intelligenti e di mentalità aperta non se la meritano proprio!) Altro episodio recente è stata la discussione con un conoscente (che diventerà verosimilmente il leader del suo team in ufficio - sic!) che dopo essersi limitato a stento a delle frasi politically correct sull'argomento "Gay" alla fine è sbottato, esprimendo veramente quello che pensava (se di pensiero si può parlare): "Io gli darei fuoco!" Degli scienziati hanno provato che tale chiusura mentale nasconde in realtà una omosessualità latente e in effetti il sospetto mi era già venuto altre volte, questa è stata solo la conferma finale. La domanda che mi pongo è: almeno sul luogo di lavoro, questi atteggiamenti (tenuti alla presenza di svariati testimoni... sì, perché queste battute si pronunciano a gran voce senza provare vergogna!) non si possono proprio denunciare? In caso di denuncia chi ne farebbe le spese sarebbe il dipendente che ha denunciato questi atteggiamenti di grave razzismo? E a chi denunciare: a un altro superiore con la stessa mentalità gretta? La reazione alla „questione gay“, secondo me, è solo un'ulteriore manifestazione di maschilismo, un'idea falsata di "virilità" (intesa in senso di "superiorità") di maschi meschini e pusillanimi. Ed eccomi qui, oggi, a cercare di sostenere le donne arabe (alcune appoggiate dal proprio compagno... pare che anche qui i "meschini pusillanimi" non siano poi molti, sono solo alle redini del potere...); sostenerle nella loro lotta al DIRITTO di potere... guidare la macchina... week I was forced, for the umpteenth time, to hear. I don't remember the context, but the essence doesn't change. "Bertoldo confesses with a laugh" says a (wise) proverb. I am afraid, that, although in the middle of the road of my life, I won't be able to enjoy a world without prejudices and - more generally - without such idiots. The more I look around, the more I think that the people in positions of responsability are the ones whom, not only I do NOT envy, but I don't think much of (and, saying all the truth, they are completely unworthy of the respect of intelligent and open-minded persons!)  Another recent episode was the discussion with an acquaintance (that probably will become the leader of a team in his workplace - sic!) that, after resticting himself to politically correct phrases on the subject "Gay", in the end spoke up: "I would set gays on fire!", expressing what he really thought (if one can talk about "thought"). Some scientist proved that such a narrow-mindedness actually hides a latent omosexuality and, in fact, I already suspected it other times and this was only the final confirmation. The question I ask myself is: at least on the workplace, is it possible to denounce such attitudes (that they keep at the presence of many witnesses... yes, because these jokes are laudly cracked, without feeling ashamed!) And who would be damaged by denouncing: the worker that denounced such a racism behaviour? And to whom report it: to another boss with the same petty mentality? The reaction to the "gay question" is, in my opinion, just a further manifestation of chauvinism, a distort idea of "virility" (intended in the sense of "superiority") of petty and narrow-minded men. And here I am, today, to try to support the Arab women (some of them sustained by their partner... once again it seems that the "pitiable pusillanimous" are not so many, but they just take over the reins of governament...); I am here to support them in their fight to have the right to... drive the car... For more info read here
