30 GIORNI DI LIBRI - 30 DAY BOOK CHALLENGE

Giorno 21: La tua copertina preferita (Risponderò prima alla domanda inglese, che è più restrittiva di quella italiana e chiede: “l'illustrazione preferita di un libro d'infanzia”) Ho una pessima memoria, come ho già avuto modo di dire. Stranamente tendo a ricordare le storie e non le figure dei libri. L'unica che mi viene in mente è quella di un pinguino; era un pinguino speciale: la sua livrea infatti non era a “smoking”, ma tutta colorata e dipinta a fiori! Il pinguino si chiamava “Hyppie”. A causa di questa stranezza, Hyppie non era accettato dagli altri pinguini, neppure dagli insegnanti che continuavano a insistere che avrebbe dovuto fare qualcosa per liberarsi di tutti quei colori! Day 21: Favorite picture book from childhood I have a bad memory, as already said! Strangely I remember the stories, not the pictures of the books. The only one that springs to mind is about a penguin; it was a special penguin though: its “plumage” didn't look as a smoking, but it was full of colours and painted flowers! The penguin was called – of course! – “Hyppie!. Because of this strangeness Hyppie was not accepted by the others penguins neither by its teacher that insisted it should have made something against all those colours! I do not remember what happened to Hyppie – I supposed at the end it made something exceptional tending to the heroic therefore it was accepted as it was – anyway this colourful penguin
