New York!

Arch of Washington Park Dopo pressanti richieste degli amici, ho deciso di documentare il po' di tempo libero durante il mio viaggio di lavoro a NY. Ecco quindi, pubblicate a round alcune foto e qualche commento del mio viaggio.

City Hall Park As requested by pressing friends, I decided to document my spare time during my business trip in NY. So, a bit at a time, I will post the photos and some comments of my journey.

Premetto che sono incredibilmente fortunata: quando decido di andare in vacanza o di bighellonare da qualche parte, il tempo mi assiste volgendo immancabilmente al bello! Noterete infatti nelle prime foto il cielo sereno sui parchi. Mi piace molto passeggiare e, secondo me, non c'è niente di meglio che evitare i mezzi di trasporto, troppo rapidi per far apprezzare il panorama, e optare per l'autoscarpa. Pare che nel Nuovo Mondo apprezzino, come noi occidentali della vecchia Europa, le cose esotiche. Solo che qui si strafà, rendendole ancora più esotiche! Come l'elefante che si tiene su con la proboscite... uhmmm... E dopo tante emozioni e tanto camminare, un lauto pasto è d'obbligo. Niente costosi ristoranti chic, anche se pagati dall'azienda; un tipico self service statunitense piuttosto, per gli abitanti magari squallido, ma per i turisti molto pittoresco! Comunque, ragazzi... sta succedendo qualcosa laggiù! Ho visto uno strano raduno: un parco pieno di piccole creature confuse fra la folla; le vedete nelle foto? Quello della foto di destra, sono quasi sicura, è il loro capo! Basset hounds meeting

I have to say I am incredibly lucky when I decide to go on holiday or for a walk around somewhere outside; without failing, the weather always turns good! You can indeed notice in the photos how clear the heaven on the parks is. I like very much walking and, in my opinion, there is nothing better than avoiding the means of transportation, too fast for you to appreciate the countryside, and opting for the... auto-foot.. I mean: for going by foot! It seems that in the New World, as here in the old Europe, the exotic stuffs are really appreciated. But in NY they overdo everything and they transform them in something even more exotic! As the elephant that stand on his proboscis... uhmmm... And after so many emotions and so much walking, a lavish meal is a must. Yet, no chic and expensive restaurant, although the food is paid by my firm; rather a typical US self service; perhaps the inhabitants would consider it shabby, but for us tourists it is very picturesque! Anyway... there is something going on up there, guys! There was a strange meeting: a park full of small creatures confused among the crowd; can you see them in the photos? The one on the right photo, I am pretty sure, is their boss! The boss
