Come vi dicevo nel post precedente, a fine giugno sono stata a Cape Cod e a visitare le sue isole insieme a una mia cara amica. D'obbligo, andando in queste zone, è l'uscita in nave per l'avvistamento delle balene, il cosiddetto whale watching!

As I told you in the previous post, towards the end of June I went to Cape Cod and its islands with a dear friend of mine. If you are in this area, whale watching is a must!

A giugno/luglio una mia cara amica è venuta a trovarmi a NY, con l'intenzione di visitare anche il Maine, più in particolare Cape Cod (astenersi da battute su Jessica Fletcher, grazie!) e le due isole di Nantucket e Martha Vineyards, famosa quest'ultima come una delle residenze della famiglia Kennedy.

In June/July a dear friend of mine came to see me in NY, with the intention to visit also Maine, more in particular Cape Cod (avoid jokes on Jessica Fletcher, thank you!) and the two islands of Nantucket and Martha Vineyards, the last one famous for being one of Kennedy family's residences.

Nuovo secolo - New century

Ieri sera ho visto un film, del 2005: “Un miracolo d'amore” (il titolo originario è: “Ordinary Miracles” e qualcuno un giorno mi spiegherà con che criterio vengano tradotti...). Una trama un po' scontata forse, ma di piacevole visione, se non fosse per una piccola gaffe che, mi chiedo, se avrò notato solo io.

Yesterday evening I saw a film, of 2005: “Ordinary Miracles” (title strangely translated in Italian as “Miracle of Love”... I do not know on the basis of which criteria...). A bit expected plot perhaps, anyway a pleasant viewing, if not for a little gaffe that, I wonder, if I'll have been the only one who noticed it.
